Kishorn Port Ltd

Situated on the North West coast of Scotland, Kishorn Port Limited (KPL) provide exemplary facilities with a large dry dock, port, manufacturing, and decommissioning services to the maritime and offshore energy sectors. KPL has a Waste Management Licence, EU Ship Recycling Licence and a NORM Permit, making our contained facility the ideal site, particularly for recycling vessels, floating assets, and offshore oil & gas structures.

In 2020 the dry dock was used for the recycling of the MV Kaami, achieving only 0.5% to landfill. KPL is also tendering for future projects such as the recycling of the Northern Producer, which is currently anchored in Loch Kishorn near to the port.

KPL has also been granted planning permission to expand the dry dock to accommodate vessels of up to 260m in length and for the reclamation of 9Ha of foreshore ground. This will increase the area of land available for decommissioning, as well as renewable energy manufacturing, particularly offshore floating wind structures, aquaculture support, concrete manufacture, and port & marine services by over 9.5ha, providing over 20Ha of laydown and hardstanding working area in a 45Ha footprint.
